気候が暖かくなり、お出かけシーズンですね。
今回は家族で遊びに行ったチームラボフォレスト福岡※について書きます。
※チームラボとは、日本のデジタルコンテンツ制作会社で、展示は日本だけでなくアメリカ、シンガポール、中国など世界の色んなところで行われています。

子どもたちの年の差が大きいと（我が家は長男と長女が８歳差）、遊びに連れていく場所って、結構困るんですよね。
その意味で、ここは大当たり！みんなで楽しめましたよ。
今回行ったチームラボフォレスト福岡のURL
チームラボフォレスト福岡は、「つかまえて集める森」と「運動の森」からなる新感覚ミュージアムでした。
つかまえて集める森
暗い空間に光る森や動物たち、とても幻想的で、素敵な空間でした。
ケータイにアプリをダウンロードして遊びます。
長男は自分のスマホ、次男は主人のスマホ、娘はわたしのスマホを使うことに。
アプリ上で壁に現れる動物に光の矢を放ち、捕まえるという仕組みです。
お兄ちゃんたちが次々に動物を捕まえる中、３歳の娘だけずっと捕まえられず。３歳にはまだ難しいのかな？と思い、わたしが挑戦しましたが、わたしも捕まえられず。さすがにおかしいと思って受付まで戻って相談したところ「アンドロイドの機種によっては、たまに動作しないことがある」と言われました。そして、受付でスマホをレンタル（無料！）できました。
「わぁ！捕まえた！」と嬉しそうな子どもたち。捕まえると、コレクション図鑑に情報が追加される仕組みでした。森の動物ゾーンと海の生き物ゾーンがありました。
「運動の森に移るよ～」と言っても「えー！ずっとここにいたいー」と言っていた子どもたちでした。
運動の森
幻想的な雰囲気は「つかまえて集める森」と変わらず続きます。
ここでは、壁や床を触ったり踏んだりすると、音が出たり、色が変わったりします。
幻想的な世界というだけでなく、自分がその世界に影響力を持っているという点が飽きることなく遊べた最大の理由だと思います。こうしたらどうなるかな？こうしたら？と考え、試しながら、森を進んでいきます。
・グラフィティネイチャー
ここでは数種類の塗り絵が準備されています。自分が作り出した生き物や花はスキャンされ、なんとその後 進む森に登場するのです！
わー！これ、ぼくのレインボー トカゲだよー
などと言いながら探したり、追いかけたりしてました。
そうなんです、動くんです、しかも結構激しく。
なので一緒に写真を撮るのが、すごーく難しかったです(笑)
ふたつの森を出るとカウンターがあり、そこでレンタルしたスマホを返却しました。
カウンターではお土産を売ってます。グラフィティネイチャーで作り出した生き物をオリジナルの缶バッジ、ハンドタオル、Tシャツ、トートバッグなどにして持って帰ることができます。
長男はトカゲをペーパークラフトに、次男はトカゲを缶バッジに、長女はお花をペーパークラフトにしました。
↑後日小6の息子が作ったペーパークラフトと元の塗り絵。わたしに似ず、手先が器用です。
ひとつ注意点！
チームラボ福岡はBOSS E・ZO FUKUOKAの５階にあるんですが、キャリーケースなどの大きな荷物を預けるところは１階にしかないんです。
我が家は、主人が１階まで往復してくれました、感謝。
みなさんは１階に荷物を預けるのを忘れないようにしてくださいね。
みなさんもぜひ一度、この幻想的な世界を体感してみてください。

Today, I’d like to share our recent family trip to teamLab Forest Fukuoka.

When your kids are far apart in age (ours have an 8-year gap between the eldest and youngest), it can be tough to find places that entertain everyone.
But this place was a total hit—we all had a great time!

teamLab Forest Fukuoka is a new kind of museum made up of two areas:
“Catching and Collecting Forest” and “Athletic Forest.”
Catching and Collecting Forest
A glowing forest and animals in a dimly lit space—it was truly magical and beautiful.
To play, you download an app on your phone.
Our oldest son used his own phone, our second son used my husband’s, and our daughter used mine.
The way it works is you shoot arrows of light at animals that appear on the walls and try to catch them through the app.
While the boys were busy catching one animal after another, our 3-year-old daughter just couldn’t seem to catch any.
I started wondering, “Maybe it’s just too hard for a 3-year-old?”
But then I tried… and still couldn’t catch any!
Something seemed off, so we went back to the reception desk. They told us, “Some Android models occasionally don’t work with the app.”
Luckily, they let us rent a compatible phone for free!
The kids were so excited when they finally caught something—“I got one!!”
Once you catch an animal, it’s added to your digital collection.
There were both a forest animal zone and a sea creature zone.
Even when I said, “Okay, let’s head over to the Athletic Forest!”
The kids responded, “What?! We wanna stay here longer!”
Athletic Forest
The magical atmosphere continued into this area too.
Here, when you touch or step on the walls or floors, they light up or make sounds.
What really kept the kids engaged wasn’t just the beauty of the space, but the fact that they could actually influence the world around them.
They kept experimenting—“What happens if I do this?”—as they explored deeper into the forest.

In this area, you can choose from several coloring sheets.
Once you finish your drawing, it’s scanned in—and then, your creature or flower appears in the digital forest ahead!
Our kids were thrilled:
Look! That’s my rainbow lizard!
They ran around chasing their own creations.
Yes—they move! And not just a little, but really energetically.
Which made it super hard to take photos with them (haha)!
After exiting both forests, we returned the rental phone at a nearby counter.
They also sell souvenirs there, including personalized goods featuring the creatures you made in Graffiti Nature—like original buttons, hand towels, T-shirts, and tote bags.
Our oldest made his lizard into a paper craft, our second son turned his into a button badge, and our daughter made her flower into a paper craft.
The photo above shows the original coloring sheet and the paper craft my son made later.
Unlike me, he’s quite good with his hands!
One thing to note!
teamLab Forest Fukuoka is located on the 5th floor of BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA, but the only place to store large luggage like suitcases is on the 1st floor.
In our case, my husband kindly made a round trip down to the 1st floor to drop off our luggage—thank you!
So don’t forget to store your bags on the 1st floor before heading up!
I highly recommend experiencing this magical world at least once.
